From the historic Statue of Liberty to the brand new Vessel, you will have the pleasure of seeing the city from a unique and exciting point of view. Below are our favorite landmarks to see:
Statue of Liberty
Created by French sculptors, Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi and Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel, The Statue of Liberty commemorates the long-lasting friendship between France and the USA.
Opened on March 15, 2019, The Vessel was built as part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project. This inspirational structure, created by Thomas Heatherwick, was designed as an interactive piece for the public.
One World Trade Center
The One World Trade Center was created as a memorial for the lives lost as a result of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Since 2002, there have been several designs considered for the redevelopment; architect David Child’s design was chosen as the final plan.
Taking 14 years to complete, the iconic Brooklyn Bridge spans NYC’s East River linking Manhattan and Brooklyn. John Augustus Roebling was a pioneer in the design of steel suspension bridges and the creator of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Empire State Building
Created due to a competition between the Chrysler Corporation and General Motors, the Empire State Building has stood tall since 1931. At the time, it was the world’s tallest skyscraper at 1,250 feet high.
