Q- How many people can fly in your helicopters?
A- Each of our helicopters seats up to 6 passengers plus one pilot.
Q- What are your hours of operation?
A- Hours are as follows:
WALL ST MONDAY TO SATURDAY FROM 9: AM TO 7:00 PM ( LAST FLIGHT AT 6:30 PM )
SUNDAY FROM 9:AM TO 5:00 PM ( LAST FLIGHT AT 4:30 PM )
Q- Do I need a reservation?
A- Yes reservations are mandatory for all heliports. Please call 1800-542-9933 or 212-967-6464. Our live reservation lines are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm 7 days a week.
Q- Do you ever have delays or interruptions to your scheduled flights?
A- Delays may occur more often then not during: 1) Our busy season from October thru December. 2) Government air restrictions and high profile government visits to NYC. 3) Inclement weather and the next flyable weather day. 4) Extreme heat, cold or windy days.
Q- Is there public transportation to Liberty Helicopters?
A- Yes. Please see our MAPS page for more details.
Q- Are private tours available?
A- Yes, private tours are available. Please contact our charter department and you will be able to design any route you wish.
Q- How long are your tours?
A- Our Lady Liberty and Taste of NY tours are both 6-8 minutes in length, our Big apple tour is 12-15 minutes in length, and our Romance tour is 22-25 minutes in length.
Q- Is parking available at the heliports?
A- No, there is no parking in the immediate areas surrounding each heliport. The closest parking area to our Downtown Heliport is at South Street Seaport. We are a 5-8 minute walk from there.
Q- Do you have gift certificates available for purchase?
A- Yes we do. Gift certificates can be purchased on our website. Any tours that is purchased as a gift certificate is valid 7 days a week and for one year from date of purchase. A $17.50 Federal Express fee as well as a $30.00 per person facility/security fee will be added on to the total cost for domestic shipping. For International shipping please call or email us for rate. Gift certificates are non refundable.
Q- Do you provide photos for download that we can use for promotions?

Q- What happens if I buy a tour and my flight is cancelled due to weather?
A- Liberty helicopters will do our best to reschedule your tour for another date and time. If we can not find an agreed upon date and time for your tour and you purchased your tour through this website or by calling us by phone, we will refund you in full. If you purchased our tour through a 3rd party or affiliate you will need to contact them directly to discuss refund options. Gift Certificates are non refundable and non transferable.
Q- What is your cancellation and or refund policy?
A- Liberty Helicopters will not charge you for any date or time changes to an existing prepaid helicopter tour. Any cancellation of tour outside of 24 hours of your tour departure date is subject to a $25.00 per person cancellation fee, any cancellation within 24 hours of scheduled date will result in full payment taken from your credit card. If passengers do not show up for their tour then the money paid in full is non refundable. Liberty helicopters, Inc reserves the right to upgrade, alter or terminate any or all of our sightseeing tours due to security, weather or acts of God. If this happens and a new reservation date can not be made then you will be refunded for full cost of your tour. Gift certificates are non refundable and non transferable and are valid for one year from date of purchase.
